Blue Clay School 1875 - 1928
The  Blue Clay School was one of the earliest  schools in what is now the Perry School District.  It was located on Jackson Ave. 1/2 mile south of 12th St.  This location is now part ot the property owned by Dale Fasnacht (Genoa alumni) and before him by his father Alvin.   The building was no longer used after the current Genoa School was opened in 1929, and was finally sold off at auction in 1932.   These photos, courtesy of Dale Fasnacht, are believed to have been taken taken on that auction day.
